AVRO Academy

We are an alternative high school in the Avenue and Lawrence neighbourhood in Toronto. 

At AVRO we recognize that each individual learns through a unique combination of support, structure and guidance. Our vision for AVRO Academy is a school that helps students learn curriculum as they learn how to learn. We have created a community atmosphere where students feel inspired and capable. As an alternative high school in Toronto, we offer both regular classes, and an individualized program called the I-Plan Model of self-directed learning. Our team has a wide variety of experience which encourages emotional intelligence, experiential learning, and academic achievement.
